World Class Events Supports Quintessentially in Delivering Equate Petrochemical’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

When Quintessentially was tasked with delivering Equate Petrochemical’s 20th anniversary celebrations and the official inauguration of its new headquarters in Kuwait in November 2017, the Spendlove Group was called upon to assist with the event’s technical and logistical delivery.

World Class Events, part of the Spendlove Group, took full responsibility for the technical aspects of the event, including production, site and stage management, and Health & Safety oversight. In addition, Showforce, another Spendlove Group company, supplied a team of experienced crew members to support the event’s execution, while Force Logistics handled the transportation of all necessary equipment from Dubai to Kuwait.

The project was meticulously managed by the World Class Events team, acting as the single point of contact for Quintessentially’s in-house team. At the request of the client for a premium technical solution, World Class Events recommended top-tier suppliers from Dubai. These included Delta Sound, which provided audio and communications, Creative Technology, responsible for projection mapping and camera support, and Eclipse, which delivered the architectural and stage lighting solutions.

Given the scale of the event, all the equipment supplied by Delta Sound, Creative Technology, and Eclipse had to be transported from Dubai to Kuwait. Force Logistics efficiently managed the movement of the equipment using eight trucks, with Showforce crew assisting in the loading and unloading process.

The seamless collaboration between Spendlove Group companies ensured a door-to-door service, meeting all client objectives and delivering a spectacular event. The installation took place over a three-month period, covering Equate’s new 16,500 sqm headquarters.

The event was a resounding success, garnering positive press coverage and attracting praise from high-profile attendees, including Kuwait’s Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity & Water, His Excellency Essam Al-Marzouq, Governor of Ahmadi His Excellency Sheikh Fawaz, Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Nizar Al-Adsani.
